Joao Fonseca is an Associate Partner at Delta Partners, where he is an Expert of AI and Robotics based on the San Francisco Office.
Joao has more than 18 years of experience in management consulting working in areas of Corporate Strategy, Business Planning, Project Management and having extensive cross-functional experience across Finance, Marketing, Sales, Network and IT.
During the last 11 years, Joao has been working across different geographies in Latin America, Africa and Middle East, advising most of the biggest telecom operators in those regions.
He has been part of the Advisory Team for more than 12 years, working mainly in the Middle East & Africa and has recently finished his master in Robotics at CMU.
Prior to joining Delta Partners Joao was Manager at TVCabo Portugal, where he spear-headed the division of Processes and Quality. Before that, Joao worked at McKinsey and Company, Europraxis and Diamond Cluster (now Oliver & Wyman) where he was exposed to a myriad of sectors across Banking, Insurance, Mobile, Fixed Line, Cable and Media.
Joao holds a master in Physics from Instituto Superior Tecnico, an MBA from INSEAD Business School in Singapore and a Master in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University.
