Juan is a Senior Managing Director based in our San Francisco (US) office. He has almost 20 years of experience in the telecoms, media and tech (TMT).

Juan’s area of expertise resides in the tech world and its intersection with the telecommunications industry. His know-how in the digital sector covers trends, business model evolution, partnerships and valuation of digital services, amongst others.

Juan developed his expertise through years of helping launch telecommunications and digital start-ups, strategic, business and financial planning, new market entries, go to market and performance improvement strategies. Juan’s specific client involvements include the build-up of digital business units for telecommunications operators, partnership strategies for digital players, advisory on acquisitions and privatisation, overall transactional management and operational valuation of opportunities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Prior to joining Delta Partners, Juan worked for several advisory firms in management consulting and corporate finance, including McKinsey & Company, Bank of America and Oliver Wyman (then DiamondCluster).

Juan received a Bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in Spain and the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden. He also has an MBA with a focus on Finance from IESE / London Business School. He speaks fluent English, Spanish and Catalan and is conversational in French.
